About the role

Yatrik Stays curates and manages heritage homestays and boutique properties across Rajasthan, handling bookings through our own platform rather than depending wholly on OTAs. Our Jaipur product team is small and hands-on: one product manager, four engineers, and this design role. You will own design across the guest booking flow, the property-owner dashboard and our internal operations tools, balancing a premium feel on the guest side with plain utility on the operational side. We want a designer who prototypes quickly, tests with real guests and owners, and is unafraid to simplify. Portfolio with shipped mobile-web work required.

Responsibilities

  • Design guest booking journeys that reflect a premium positioning
  • Build practical dashboard flows for property owners and operations staff
  • Prototype in Figma and test with guests and owners regularly
  • Maintain a lightweight design system across the product surfaces
  • Work daily with engineers during build and review shipped screens
  • Use booking funnel data to prioritise design changes

Required skills

  • HTML5
  • Figma
  • UI Design
  • UX Research

About the company

Yatrik Stays

Hospitality & Travel · 51-200 employees · Guwahati

Yatrik Stays operates 23 boutique lodges and campsites across Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh, combining owned properties with managed homestays and packaging them with guided itineraries for domestic travellers. The company is headquartered in Guwahati, where central reservations, marketing and a six-person technology team run the booking engine and property-management tooling. Most property staff are hired from nearby villages and trained through a residential hospitality programme. Corporate roles suit people who like to travel: every head-office employee spends at least one week each quarter at a property.
