About the role
Prithvi Infraprojects builds highways, flyovers and urban utilities for government and private clients. Our Delhi head office finance team is hiring a Senior Accountant to manage project accounting for three active sites. You will consolidate site books, track client billing against work completion certificates, manage retention and mobilisation advance schedules, and handle GST compliance for works contracts across multiple state registrations. You will coordinate with site accountants monthly and support statutory and tax audits. Experience in construction, EPC or infrastructure accounting is essential, particularly familiarity with running account bills and works contract taxation.
Responsibilities
- Consolidate site trial balances and review site expense books monthly
- Raise and track running account bills, retention and advance recoveries
- Manage GST compliance and returns across multiple state registrations
- Reconcile client and subcontractor ledgers and resolve disputes
- Prepare audit schedules and respond to statutory and tax audit queries
