About the role
Credvia underwrites working capital credit lines for small businesses using banking, bureau and GST data. We are hiring Credit Analysts in Mumbai to sit at the intersection of policy and portfolio. You will analyse repayment performance across borrower segments, test proposed policy changes against historical data, review manual underwriting exceptions, and track early delinquency indicators by cohort. The role uses SQL for data pulls and Excel for analysis, working closely with data science on scorecard inputs. Two years of experience in credit risk, underwriting or portfolio analytics at a lender is required; familiarity with bureau data attributes is a strong plus.
What you will own
- Analyse portfolio performance by cohort, segment and acquisition channel
- Back-test proposed credit policy changes against historical outcomes
- Review manual underwriting exceptions and document decision rationale
- Track early delinquency indicators and publish monthly risk dashboards
- Work with data science on scorecard variables and policy automation
