About the role

Saarthi Freight is a road transport company operating over 800 trucks on long-haul routes across India. Our Nagpur hub is scaling and we need to hire drivers, loaders, hub supervisors and documentation staff at pace. We are hiring Recruiters on an eleven-month contract, renewable on performance, to run this volume hiring engine. You will source through referral networks, local consultancies, job fairs and field outreach, screen candidates against clear criteria, and coordinate document verification and joining. Comfort with tracking large pipelines in Excel and a practical, on-ground approach to blue-collar hiring are essential for success here.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver monthly joining targets for drivers, hub staff and supervisors
  • Source through referral schemes, consultancies, job fairs and field visits
  • Screen candidates and verify licences, documents and references
  • Coordinate medical checks, onboarding and first-week retention follow-ups
  • Maintain pipeline trackers and daily hiring reports in Excel
