About the role
Vindhya Polymers manufactures injection-moulded components for appliance, FMCG packaging and automotive customers from two plants in Indore, with 62 moulding machines ranging from 80 to 1,300 tonnes. We need a Quality Control Engineer to strengthen our in-process and pre-dispatch inspection function. You will handle incoming polymer inspection, line audits, customer complaints and 8D closures, and maintain records for ISO 9001 surveillance audits. Candidates should understand moulding defects such as short fill, sink and flash, and be comfortable with measurement instruments and basic SPC.
Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming inspection of polymer granules, masterbatch and bought-out parts
- Run hourly line audits and first-off approvals across moulding shifts
- Investigate customer complaints and drive 8D and CAPA closures with production
- Maintain calibration schedules for instruments and gauges
- Prepare monthly rejection and cost-of-quality reports for management review
- Support ISO 9001 and customer audits with complete documentation
