About the role
Vindhya Polymers purchases polymer granules, masterbatches, packaging material and engineering spares worth around 90 crore rupees annually for our two plants near Vadodara. We are hiring a Procurement Executive to manage indirect and MRO purchasing. You will float enquiries, compare quotations, negotiate with approved vendors, release purchase orders, and track deliveries against production schedules. You will also maintain minimum stock levels for critical spares and develop alternate vendors to reduce single-source risk. The role requires disciplined documentation for ISO audit requirements and daily coordination with stores and maintenance teams. Experience in manufacturing procurement is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions, float enquiries and prepare quotation comparisons
- Negotiate prices and terms with vendors within approval frameworks
- Release purchase orders and expedite deliveries against production needs
- Maintain reorder levels for critical spares with the stores team
- Develop alternate vendors and maintain audit-ready procurement records
