About the role
Saarthi Freight moves full truckload cargo on 60 lanes across India, with Mumbai's Bhiwandi hub as our busiest node handling over 150 vehicle movements daily. We are hiring Operations Executives to manage vehicle placement, loading supervision and documentation at the hub. You will coordinate with transport vendors for market vehicles when our fleet is short, track placement against customer indents, verify lorry receipts and PODs, and update movement status in our transport management system. The hub runs round the clock, so shifts rotate weekly. Freshers with strong ownership are considered, though logistics experience helps you settle faster.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily vehicle placement against customer indents and escalate shortfalls
- Supervise loading, verify documentation and dispatch vehicles on schedule
- Hire market vehicles through vendors at approved rate bands when needed
- Update trip status, LR and POD records in the transport management system
- Report detention, damages and exceptions to the hub manager daily
