About the role
Torqen Mobility's Chakan plant assembles electric drivetrain components on three shift-based production lines supplying two-wheeler OEMs. We are hiring Plant Operations Supervisors to run shift production. You will manage line output against the daily plan, allocate operators across stations, enforce quality checkpoints and in-process inspection discipline, and lead 5S and kaizen activity in your area. You will coordinate closely with maintenance on downtime response and with the quality team on customer complaint containment. A diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with shop floor supervision experience in automotive or electronics manufacturing is required.
Responsibilities
- Run shift production to plan across assigned assembly lines
- Allocate manpower and manage skill coverage across stations
- Enforce in-process quality checks and stop-line discipline on defects
- Coordinate downtime response with maintenance and log losses accurately
- Lead 5S, kaizen and safety compliance in the assigned area
