About the role
Prithvi Infraprojects executes highway and urban infrastructure contracts with a workforce of 2,800 staff and site workers spread across nine project locations. We are hiring a Payroll Specialist at our Delhi head office to run monthly payroll for staff and supervise wage processing for site workers handled by site accountants. You will manage salary inputs, statutory deductions, TDS computations and reconciliations, and respond to payroll queries within defined timelines. Accuracy under monthly deadlines is critical, as is familiarity with PF, ESIC, professional tax and labour welfare fund compliance across multiple states. Experience with any major payroll software is required.
Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll for head office and site staff with complete input validation
- Compute and reconcile PF, ESIC, professional tax and TDS deductions
- Coordinate site wage registers and muster verification with site accountants
- Resolve employee payroll queries within committed timelines
- Support statutory filings, audits and year-end Form 16 issuance
