About the role
Qissa Studios is a Mumbai-based content studio producing brand films, social video and title sequences for streaming, FMCG and fintech clients. Our motion team of eight handles everything from explainer packages to broadcast-quality graphics. We are hiring motion designers with strong After Effects fundamentals: clean keyframing, considered typography in motion, and the ability to take a storyboard from a creative director and improve it in execution. Showreels matter more than CVs here; send one with a breakdown of what you personally did. The studio runs on project deadlines, so some late evenings around deliveries are a reality we are honest about.
Responsibilities
- Produce motion graphics for brand films and social campaigns
- Build reusable animation toolkits for recurring client formats
- Interpret storyboards and elevate them in execution
- Manage render pipelines and delivery specifications per platform
- Incorporate feedback across review rounds without losing the timeline
- Maintain organised project files for handover and archiving
Required skills
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Graphic Design

Qissa Studios
Media & Entertainment · 51-200 employees · Mumbai
Qissa Studios is a Mumbai production house making streaming series, documentaries and branded content in Hindi, Tamil and Marathi, with post-production facilities in Andheri West. The studio has delivered work for major OTT platforms and runs a formats team that adapts non-fiction concepts for Indian audiences. Alongside creative roles, it employs a small technology group managing its asset pipeline, render infrastructure and rights-management database. Qissa hires editors, colourists, line producers and production accountants; crew on long-format projects are on payroll rather than day rates, which is uncommon in the industry.
