About the role
Veltrix Labs is a Bengaluru applied AI company whose document-intelligence APIs serve lenders and insurers with strict latency and uptime commitments. We are hiring a remote MLOps engineer, working from anywhere in India, to own the serving platform: GPU inference on EKS, model registry and rollout automation, and the observability that tells us when accuracy degrades before a client does. You will be the second platform hire, so the role carries real design authority along with pager responsibility. Quarterly travel to Bengaluru for planning weeks is expected, expenses covered.
Responsibilities
- Operate and scale GPU inference workloads on EKS
- Automate model packaging, registry and progressive rollout
- Build monitoring for latency, throughput and model accuracy drift
- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform across environments
- Run capacity planning ahead of client onboarding
- Share an on-call rotation with the platform lead
