About the role
Talvik Systems builds and operates software products for healthcare and industrial clients, with most workloads running on Microsoft Azure. Our Coimbatore platform team supports twelve product environments spanning AKS, Azure Functions and managed PostgreSQL. We are hiring a cloud engineer to take ownership of environment provisioning, pipeline maintenance and cost governance. You should have hands-on Terraform experience on Azure, working knowledge of AKS operations, and the discipline to change infrastructure only through code. AZ-104 or equivalent working knowledge is expected. The role is on-site at our Peelamedu development centre.
Responsibilities
- Provision and maintain Azure environments through Terraform
- Operate AKS clusters including upgrades, scaling and ingress management
- Maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for build, test and deployment stages
- Implement tagging and budget alerts to keep environment costs visible
- Harden environments against the baseline security checklist
- Support product teams during releases and environment incidents
