About the role
Vindhya Polymers runs 62 injection moulding machines across two Indore plants serving appliance, packaging and automotive customers. We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with hands-on experience on hydraulic and servo moulding machines from Windsor, Ferromatik or Toshiba. You will lead a four-technician team on breakdown response, preventive schedules and spares planning, and coordinate with mould maintenance on tool health. The position reports to the Plant Engineering Head and involves general shift working with on-call support during critical breakdowns.
Responsibilities
- Attend and close machine breakdowns within defined response and repair times
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for moulding machines and utilities
- Maintain spares inventory with reorder levels and coordinate with approved vendors
- Analyse repeated failures and implement permanent countermeasures
- Maintain compressors, chillers, cooling towers and hopper dryers
- Record all work orders and downtime in the maintenance register
