About the role
Torqen Mobility builds electric two-wheelers and cargo three-wheelers at Chakan, Pune. Our one-year Graduate Engineer Trainee programme takes mechanical and production engineering graduates from the 2025 and 2026 batches through structured rotations in assembly, weld shop, quality and design. Trainees are confirmed as engineers on successful completion, with placement decided by performance and business need. We look for sound fundamentals in strength of materials and manufacturing processes, basic CAD exposure, and willingness to spend the first six months on the shop floor in shifts.
Responsibilities
- Complete structured rotations across assembly, weld shop, quality and design
- Support line balancing, time studies and rejection analysis during plant rotations
- Prepare drawings, fixtures concepts and engineering documentation under guidance
- Participate in root-cause analysis for line and field quality issues
- Present monthly learning reviews to the programme mentor panel
