About the role
Saarthi Freight's Nagpur control tower monitors long-haul truck movements across central India corridors round the clock. We are hiring Fleet Operations Coordinators to track vehicles in transit, manage driver communication and resolve en-route exceptions. You will monitor GPS feeds against planned transit times, call drivers at defined checkpoints, arrange breakdown support through our vendor network, and keep customers informed on delayed consignments. The work demands calm coordination under pressure, particularly at night when most long-haul movement happens. Shifts rotate across day and night. Hindi fluency is mandatory; Marathi is helpful. Logistics or transport experience is preferred but trainable candidates are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Track vehicles against planned transit times using GPS monitoring
- Call drivers at checkpoints and log status updates in the system
- Arrange breakdown, fuel and enforcement support through the vendor network
- Alert customers proactively on delays with revised ETAs
- Escalate route deviations and safety incidents per protocol
