About the role

Nidaan Health is setting up its eastern reference laboratory in Kolkata to serve Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal networks, adding histopathology and advanced immunoassay capability to our NABL-accredited operations. We are hiring a Consultant Pathologist to lead clinical pathology and histopathology reporting. You will sign out reports, own quality systems for your sections, guide technologists, and interact with referring clinicians on complex cases. MD or DNB in Pathology with valid state medical council registration is mandatory; experience in a high-volume reference lab and NABL assessor exposure are strong advantages.

Responsibilities

  • Report histopathology, cytology and abnormal haematology cases within TAT
  • Own QC, EQAS participation and NABL compliance for assigned sections
  • Review and authorise critical results and communicate them to clinicians
  • Train and supervise technologists and junior pathologists
  • Participate in test menu expansion and new analyser validation
