About the role
Kridha Infotech, an Indore-based software services company, maintains a portfolio of around 60 WordPress sites for retained clients in the UK and Australia, covering brochure sites, WooCommerce stores and membership portals. We are engaging two remote contractors for an initial eleven-month term, extendable on performance, to handle build and maintenance work from anywhere in India. You should be able to build custom themes from designs without page builders when required, debug plugin conflicts methodically, and communicate progress in writing without chasing. Work allocation happens through our ticketing system with weekly review calls.
Responsibilities
- Build custom WordPress themes from supplied designs
- Maintain and update WooCommerce stores including payment and shipping plugins
- Resolve support tickets within the agreed response window
- Apply core, theme and plugin updates on a monthly schedule
- Document site-specific configurations in the client wiki
- Join a weekly review call with the maintenance lead
