About the role
Veltrix Labs builds data integration and analytics products used by engineering teams at over 200 companies. Our Pune-based product group is hiring a Technical Writer to own developer documentation for two products. You will write and maintain API references, integration guides, release notes and troubleshooting articles in a docs-as-code workflow using Git and Markdown. Candidates should be able to read API specifications, test endpoints themselves before documenting them, and push back on engineers when explanations are unclear. Three days a week in office; portfolio of developer-facing documentation is mandatory with the application.
Responsibilities
- Own API references, quickstarts and integration guides for two products
- Test endpoints and code samples before publishing documentation
- Write release notes and migration guides for every product release
- Manage docs in Git with review workflows alongside engineering
- Analyse documentation feedback and search data to fix content gaps
- Maintain the documentation style guide
