About the role
Qissa Studios is a Mumbai-based content studio producing web series, audio dramas and branded video for streaming platforms and consumer brands. You will develop episode outlines from approved story arcs, write dialogue drafts, and rework scripts through table reads and platform notes. Writers should have at least one produced or optioned credit in Hindi fiction, comfort writing to deadline across genres, and thick enough skin for honest feedback. Contract renewals and writers-room leads are decided on delivery quality, not seniority. Submit two writing samples with your application.

Qissa Studios is a Mumbai production house making streaming series, documentaries and branded content in Hindi, Tamil and Marathi, with post-production facilities in Andheri West. The studio has delivered work for major OTT platforms and runs a formats team that adapts non-fiction concepts for Indian audiences. Alongside creative roles, it employs a small technology group managing its asset pipeline, render infrastructure and rights-management database. Qissa hires editors, colourists, line producers and production accountants; crew on long-format projects are on payroll rather than day rates, which is uncommon in the industry.
