About the role
Qissa Studios is a Mumbai-based content studio producing web series, audio dramas and branded video for streaming platforms and consumer brands. We are hiring Scriptwriters on a 12-month contract for two commissioned Hindi drama slates. You will develop episode outlines from approved story arcs, write dialogue drafts, and rework scripts through table reads and platform notes. Writers should have at least one produced or optioned credit in Hindi fiction, comfort writing to deadline across genres, and thick enough skin for honest feedback. Contract renewals and writers-room leads are decided on delivery quality, not seniority. Submit two writing samples with your application.
Responsibilities
- Develop episode outlines and beat sheets from approved arcs
- Write and revise dialogue drafts within the writers-room calendar
- Incorporate platform and director notes without losing story intent
- Participate in table reads and punch-up sessions
- Maintain continuity documents and character bibles for your episodes
