About the role

Qissa Studios is a digital entertainment company producing short-form fiction, podcasts and branded content in Hindi and four regional languages. Our channels reach over twelve million followers across platforms. We are hiring a Social Media Manager in Mumbai to run daily publishing, community engagement and release campaigns for our original shows. You will work with writers, editors and talent to plan content drops, react quickly to trends without diluting the brand voice, and report on audience growth to the studio head. Experience managing large entertainment or media pages, including moderation at scale, is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage daily publishing calendars across Instagram, YouTube and X for studio channels
  • Write captions and coordinate creatives, teasers and release-day campaigns for new shows
  • Run community engagement and moderation with two executives
  • Track follower growth, watch time and engagement, and report weekly
  • Coordinate with talent and production teams on shoot-day social coverage
