About the role
Nestora is a direct-to-consumer furniture and home furnishings brand based in Bengaluru, selling nationally through its Shopify storefront and two experience centres. Online contributes over 60 per cent of revenue, so storefront performance and conversion work is continuous, not occasional. We are hiring our first in-house Shopify developer to own theme development, app integrations and checkout customisation, taking over from an agency. You should have shipped custom Shopify themes with Liquid, understand metafields and the constraints of Online Store 2.0, and be able to say no to plugins that will slow the site down. Hybrid from our Indiranagar office.
Responsibilities
- Own theme development and maintain the storefront codebase
- Build landing pages and seasonal campaign sections with reusable blocks
- Integrate and rationalise third-party apps affecting site speed
- Implement analytics and conversion tracking correctly
- Manage the transition of the codebase from the incumbent agency
- Monitor Core Web Vitals and keep regressions out of releases
