About the role
Saarthi Freight runs full-truckload and part-load operations across 160 lanes from hubs in north and west India. We are hiring Logistics Coordinators for our Delhi hub to manage day-to-day trip execution. You will track vehicles, follow up with drivers and transporters, update customers on shipment status and close trip documentation including PODs and lorry receipts. This is a good first role for graduates who want a career in transport operations; night-shift allowance applies on rotation and confirmed staff move to lane ownership within a year.
Responsibilities
- Track assigned vehicles through the trip and update milestones in the TMS
- Call drivers and transporters to resolve delays, breakdowns and detention issues
- Send proactive status updates to customers and handle routine queries
- Collect and verify PODs, lorry receipts and toll slips for billing
- Escalate incidents such as accidents or route deviations per SOP
