About the role

Kavachsure General Insurance is an IRDAI-registered general insurer offering motor, health and commercial lines through agents, brokers and digital partners. We are hiring Java developers for the policy servicing squad, working on endorsement workflows, premium recalculation and integrations with payment and KYC providers. Insurance domain experience is preferred but not mandatory; what matters is care with money math, dates and regulatory fields. The role is on-site in Sector 132 with standard insurer background verification.

Responsibilities

  • Develop endorsement and renewal workflows on the policy admin platform
  • Implement premium calculation changes with exhaustive test coverage
  • Integrate payment gateway and KYC provider APIs
  • Support monthly regulatory reporting extracts
  • Fix production issues within severity-based SLAs
  • Participate in quarterly disaster-recovery drills

Required skills

  • Java
  • Spring Boot
  • REST APIs
  • Microservices
  • SQL
  • Jenkins

About the company

Kavachsure General Insurance

Insurance · 501-1000 employees · Gurugram

Kavachsure General Insurance underwrites motor, health and small-commercial policies distributed through agents, brokers and its direct-to-consumer app. The head office is in Cyber City, Gurugram, with regional offices in Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. Claims automation is the current technology priority: the company processes a majority of motor claims through app-based surveys and is expanding its in-house engineering team to reduce dependence on vendors. Actuarial, underwriting and claims roles have defined technical career ladders, and the company funds III and actuarial examination fees for employees.
