About the role
Credvia provides working-capital lending to small businesses across India, and the credit risk team in Gurugram owns portfolio quality. We are hiring analysts to monitor delinquency movements, run cohort analyses on repayment behaviour and support policy changes with evidence. The work is SQL-heavy with Python for anything repeatable, and outputs go directly to the credit committee, so numbers must be right and caveats stated plainly. Experience in lending, collections analytics or bureau data is a strong advantage; curiosity about why borrowers behave as they do is essential. The role is on-site five days a week.
Responsibilities
- Track delinquency and roll-rate movements across lending cohorts
- Build and maintain SQL datasets feeding risk dashboards
- Analyse repayment behaviour to support credit policy revisions
- Prepare monthly portfolio packs for the credit committee
- Validate the impact of policy changes with before-after analysis
- Automate recurring reports in Python where justified

- Python
- SQL

About the company
Credvia
FinTech · 51-200 employees · Mumbai
Credvia operates a supply-chain financing platform that connects small manufacturers and distributors with NBFC and bank credit lines, using GST and invoice data for underwriting. Based in Lower Parel, Mumbai, the company works with anchor enterprises in FMCG, pharmaceuticals and auto components to finance their dealer networks. Engineering, risk and data science make up half the headcount. Because lending runs through RBI-regulated partners, releases go through formal change control, and the team values engineers who write clearly and document decisions.
